So, to get myself to write more, I've decided to try and write a drabble a day. Key word being try. I'm thinking from any movie/tv show/book that comes to mind- but I'm going to try for a drabble a day...some may turn out longer than others and I may end up with six or seven a day...depends on my mood.
Anywho- without further ado, I present the first drabble a day!
Pairing: Kutner/Cole
Fandom: House
Rating: PG-13
Words: 208
Spoilers: Only for Season 4, Episode 8- You Don't Want to Know (or the one where Kutner and Cole are on a date)
He should be mad that his friend sold him out, should be pissed off that he offered to take this guys kid to the zoo and he repays him by offering him up to be fired. They had hung out and gotten drunk and screwed around (once, because of the alcohol and no more because of stupid Mormon guilt), hell, he had even taken his kid to a movie- they had been friends.
And yet, afterwards, when he’s watching Cole clean out his locker, Kutner doesn’t feel as mad as he should. He feels hurt and betrayed, but not mad.
So he goes over and silently helps Cole finish cleaning his life out of the locker and tries hard not to think about how this is going to affect Cole’s kid. He’s a great doctor- he’ll get offers somewhere; it stings that it won’t be with Kutner.
The other man looks surprised when he suggests they go get a beer but agrees nonetheless. So they go find some half decent bar that’s not too loud and get piss drunk while Cole resolutely doesn’t think about how they’re going to end up between the sheets and Kutner thinks that he probably likes this guy just a little too much.
